On 18 March 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, participated in a public seminar on the human rights situation in Thailand, organized by The Publisher news agency and the National Defence Studies Institute.
The Director-General shared the experience of Thailand’s candidature and its election to the Human Rights Council (HRC) for the term 2025-2027 and exchanged views with other panelists, who are social media influencers, on Thailand’s role in promoting human rights at international fora, and priorities as a new HRC member. She also met with youth representatives and their project to raise awareness on global issues, and gave a short interview on the role of youth in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and in preserving the environment.
