On 19 July 2022, Ambassador of Thailand extended a hearty congratulations to Ms. Apinya Tajit, Deputy Director of Stella Marris, upon her receiving The 2022 Trafficking in Persons Report Hero Award from Honorable Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Working in close partnership with organizations, such as Stella Marris, the Thai authorities have been able to make great strides in combatting human trafficking, bringing traffickers to justice, save and assist victims to recover from their traumatic experience. Earlier this year, another organization, Thai CDC based in Los Angeles, received the Presidential Award for Extraordinary Efforts to Combat Trafficking in Persons.
