On August 23, 2021, Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol virtually met with representatives from Seafood Task Force, including retailers and NGOs, such as Costco, Marine Gold Products and World Wildlife Fund, to exchange views on ways and means to promote sustainable fisheries and seafood supply chains, and to stop and prevent illegal fishing.
Seafood Task Force consists of multi-stakeholder alliance, including European and American retailers, suppliers, NGOs and the major Thai shrimp processors and feed companies. The Group’s main objectives are to promote responsible and sustainable seafood supply chains and prevent Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing activities. (IUU)
